H-60 Rear Crew Hoist Training

Bluedrop USA conducted hoist operations in various environments during the training event. These environments included open water confined areas and static and underway vessels. The event culminated in a simulation of a real-world scenario in heavy seas, wind and night. This scenario tested the crew’s coordination and skill in a safe environment. Additionally, Bluedrop USA trained the H-65 and H-60 standardization instructors to develop the transition course. This course is designed to help Coast Guard hoist operators transition smoothly from H-65 to H-60 aircraft.
