About Me
Connie Maltbie-Shulas joined Bluedrop Training & Simulation USA as Director, Vertical Lift Programs with over 30 years of diverse leadership experience in the military and civilian sectors. She is noted for bringing diverse stakeholders to consensus in support of common objectives, building high performing teams with a proven track record of "promises made, promises delivered" in execution of the program's she's managed, while delivering a varied portfolio of products and services.
Connie’s previous experience includes 21 years with the Boeing Company, holding multiple program management positions on the V-22 Osprey and Comanche programs, known for promoting innovative solutions to emergent challenges, most recently leading the V-22 Instructional Systems and Trainer Engineering Teams in delivering on-time, tactically relevant training to multiple V-22 military customers, as well as delivery of concurrency upgrade modifications of the Marine, Navy, Air Force, and Government of Japan training devices.
Prior to that role, Connie managed the V-22 Modification and Retrofit Program, lauded for successfully executing the Block A to B Modification Program in an innovative private/public partnership with the Fleet Readiness Center (East).
Connie served in multiple capacities in the U.S. Army (Airborne), and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering (Operations Research) from Lehigh University, and a master’s degree in Organizational Dynamics (Program Management) from the University of Pennsylvania.
